For over twenty-five years, Biltrite has supplied gasket cutters, fabricators and distributors with gasketing materials formulated to meet the specific requirements and performance objectives of manufacturers, OEMs and the military. Fenestration Sheets Biltrite has developed a unique vinyl sheet product which is cut into setting blocks by the fenestration industry. Available in a wide range of colors, the Biltrite product employs a specially formulated blocking film that prevents plasticizer from migrating out of the setting block and degrading the adhesive used to apply the block to the window frame. Each color is produced in, and correlates to, a specific thickness. Being able to identify the thickness of a setting block by its color makes it much easier for those working in window manufacturing plants to make sure they install the proper thickness block and not have to worry about confusing the thickness of one black neoprene block from another.
