Biltrite’s specialty flooring serves a number of markets where highly engineered solutions are required.

Our safety edge diamond plate runner features a uniquely engineered, deeply embossed, steel deck pattern that combines a high-tech, skid-resistant design with yellow borders for high visibility and an extra margin of safety where directional guidance is crucial.

If specialty applications are required, our chemists can formulate our flooring and matting to resist oil, grease, fire or many other specific needs. Typical of our ability to develop, design and formulate flooring products for a wide variety of applications, Biltrite manufactures and sells Uni-Turf ® , a specialty flooring surface that is used in field houses and multipurpose rooms at schools and universities around the country.

Our line of specialty flooring also includes a wide range of electrostatic dissipative vinyl matting, used for table tops in high-tech manufacturing plants, and conductive matting, used on the floor in that same high-tech environment, along with military-grade switchboard matting that protects workers from electrical shock when they are near high voltage apparatus. Switchboard matting is manufactured and tested to meet the requirements of MIL-DTL-15562G and is used extensively on United States Navy ships.
